TMC provides premier transportation engineering and planning services. As CEO, he oversees the company's strategy, operations, and corporate development. His responsibilities include budget preparation, client relations, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) system implementation. Mr. Ryan also manages financial operations, performance metrics, financial reporting, and merger and acquisition (M&A) activities.
Before his current role, Mr. Ryan held several executive positions across different sectors. He served as CEO, president, and board chair of S&ME, Inc., in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Area of North Carolina. At HDR, Inc., he held roles as executive VP, senior VP, and chief operations officer in Washington, DC, and Tampa, Florida. He has also worked as a senior policy director in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Matthew Ryan holds memberships in several professional organizations. He serves on the executive committee board of the Design Professional Coalition and belongs to ESOP and Employee-Owned S Corporations of America (ESCA). He also maintains membership in the Rotary Club as a Paul Harris Fellow and co-chairs the DPC Programs Committee.
